New Community Memorial Hospital Passes State Inspection

CMHS President & CEO Gary K. Wilde is pleased to announce that the new Ocean Tower at CMH has passed state inspection.

Community Memorial Health System is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed the State of California inspection of the new Ocean Tower at Community Memorial Hospital.  The hospital received an exemplary report that noted no deficiencies. Moving day is scheduled for Sunday December 16th.

The new Ocean Tower is a six-story, 355,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art building featuring 250 all-private rooms.  The new building also includes an expanded emergency department with 37 private treatment rooms, 10 new surgical suites with leading-edge medical technology, advanced diagnostic and imaging capabilities, and en entire floor devoted to moms, babies and children, with a larger Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and an eight-bed pediatric wing.
